HLTV Questions.

Hi everyone :)

I would like to know how to use HLTV, just because I want to record myself in third person :P

So can anyone teach me the basics of HLTV?
like:

How to record.
How to start/set it up

and if you can like; place the hltv in some angle :P

Is HLTV only working on dedicated server?

I can't find any hltv.exe :/

u do not need to make a dedicated server... just let the hltv join ur ip (127.0.0.1)... u have to change the port eg. 27018... 27015 is the standart port for cs server and its already in use if u start cs

Anyways..

in cs set:
rcon_address
rcon_port

type STATUS in hltv to find out your port/ip

then to record: rcon record DEMONAME
to stop: rcon stoprecording

to set a password
hltv.exe: rcon_password PASSWORD
You need to do the same command in CS (in console).

You might need to do rcon_address IP:PORT in hltv.exe aswell, not sure though.

Also you need to change the DElAY in hltv.exe (default is 30 seconds).
delay 1 (or whatever you want it to be)
or: rcon delay 1 (etc)

some hltv demos have unnormal laggs, looks like u playing with 50 fps -.- why?
