Maxspeed :/
I'm jumping around 235units atm but the maxspeed i get is only ~281, and prestafe it's ~269.. am i strafing to bad or something? :/
Tips are more than welcomed :)
ye, i have same problem.. if my prestrafe ~271-274 i have ~280max speed if my maxspeed ~300 i have ~268-269 prestrafe..

if you want high maxspeed, you just need to strafe alot.. so do a big and nice 1st strafe then add 5 quick strafe if you can
Bibo what u mean with 1st strafe? is it the prestrafe or the strafe after the prestrafe? : (
I think the 1st strafe after pre. Once soul write the same somewhere.
the 1st strafe after the pre gives you alot of speed, so you want to make a big and nice one

I think usually when I don't longjump well its because you pause too much between strafes, so the easiest way to improve your strafes is to pay attention to how long you pause on your strafes and try to shorten the pause as much as possible.
argh same problem, my strafes sucks... when i did 251 my maxspeed was 321 :(
maxspeed isnt everything, you need it, you need to get speed in the begining of jump, today i jumped 245 with 321 maxspeed and 272 pre, and my friend jumped 251 with 318 maxspeed and 271 pre, dont believe numbers too much..
when the lj thread was 247+, i was up there with a 312 topspeed...
i cant make good ground speed... prestrafe 270-272 whats the problem ?
