What about a map contest which is time based?
Timebased contest means that you have a period time something like 52hours to make a map. And the theme would be choosen from the contest team.
I hope 52 hrs is just a number...can't really make a good map in that long. But I love it, haven't had a contest in what 6-8 months?

sounds nice, but It would be together with kreedz.com because the mapsubmission is there now, or if u dont want a custom map contest :D
Well if its gonna be a time based contest it should be on a weekend imo, maybe like friday to sunday?? :P

how would you be able to determine if the person didn't already use a .rmf they have been working on for months prior? :P

Most mappers are honest, plus, you can always check when the rmf was first started :P

Well I think that when u have a theme to work from its easier to make a map, cuz when ur making one on ur own u create and delete all the time, maybe changing theme like 3times before the map is finished, and if u only have 52 hours to build the map on u cant map for 1hour each day, u need to focus on the map all ur free time if u want to win.

Most mappers are honest, plus, you can always check when the rmf was first started :P
And if someone use an old rmf he is only lucky to have a map with the same theme even if its cheating to use it, the changes isnt that big imo =D

the 52hours were an example Volsfootball.
and DaMp it should be a theme from the leaders of the contest.

:D, i do understand you Pf0llz0r, and ya, i hope it would be like a week if it even does happen. And @acidburn, when you download the file and use like winrar to extract it, the right hand side of the file shows when the file was first started...
build the map and copy paste it in a new rmf. and save
i think this works to cheat ^^
