Hi, all! I'm sorry if there's already such thread. Anyway here's my question: I noticed that most of FPS' are 99.XX. The problem is that when I run such program as Fraps (shows your FPS), it says that I have only 75 FPS. Maybe there's some mistake? It's always 75 whatever I try to do. How can I find out my FPS? Please help

if you record with fraps you have to record with 30fps if im not wrong
recording with 75fps is slowmotion i guess

type into console net_graph 1 and fps_max 101

Murvelman31/08/2007 15:41

Fraps sucks.

insen mapper31/08/2007 19:32

hmm normally fraps should show 100
use fps_max "101" and net_graph "3"
if u do this u should have 100 fps and fraps also shows 100 fps then

Can't figure out what's wrong with it... Still shows ~75... One more question: can it depend on the computer screen I use? I mean either it's liquid-crystal screen or large sized old ones? Cuz I think I didn't have such problem using my old screen.

maybe u have some malware on your computer..check for it

vertical sync off ?.. ;)

NumB01/09/2007 14:45

net_graph 3 removes ~20fps 4 me.

NumB i had that 2 on my 2nd computer.
use then cl_showfps instead of net_graph

so:
net_graph 0
cl_showfps 1

then i didn't get the fps decrease :)

only for GeForceXXXX... ;)
Right Button on Desktop...Properties>Settings>advanced>GeForceXXX>Performance&QualitySettings> and you will see "Vertical Sunc"...just Turn Off and resstart your PC :D
