Extreme Maps (Contest)

I feel that the the kz community is in need of harder maps.
Jumpers are alot better since the days kzno_xtremeblock
was rated extreme. It's hard, but it's not extreme anymore.

So to get some speed into this project, a mapping contest
would be in place. The maptype would be blocks, and
the contestants would be compete on behalf of their
country.

The maps would be named kzse_xtremeblock (Sweden),
kzus_xtremeblock (USA), kzfr_xtremeblock (France)... etc.
depending on which country the mapper is from. Exception:
Norway would have to make a kzno_xtremeblock2 or
something. (Well that's just an idea, but some "tag" should
be in the mapname, so the maps should have "kinda" the
same name)

The maps...

...has to be extreme rated. (Read: harder than
kzno_xtremeblock [or at _least_ equally hard])

...shouldn't be so long (10 blocks max, kzno_xtremeblock
has 6), max 5 mins to complete at full speed with no falls.
(test with 750 gravity or something to determine length)

...should be nice and clean. No maps like "kz_dp_medieval"
(no offence there), but it shouldn't be tons of textures,
sounds and models etc.

...should have original blocks, not blocks from other maps
just remade to be harder. The blocks in kzno_xtremeblock
has some original blocks, thats a good example.


The winners would be the best from 3 or 5 countries. By best
in this contest category, i mean the maps the community
likes the best (decided by vote). What the prizes should be
or if there should be any(?), i don't know. It's a reward itself
to have made the best map out of others(?). Suggest!

So in the end there would be 3 or 5 new maps rated extreme,
named i.e. kzse_xtremeblock, kzus_xtremeblock,
kzfr_xtremeblock, kzde_xtremeblock, kzfi_xtremeblock.

Sounds great, there are too many ez maps nowadays :/

ye thought about that but i rather dont want to create a map which i cant nullcheck.
but i allready made a concept how to create it. i think i will start the project in one month. if u want u can create a blockstage for me cuz it would be funny to built a map with different blockstages by different mappers. dont be shy and contact me via irc.
p.s. i will give a name to every stage (mappersname)

mccracken you never "edited this thread later" about the multimappers map :( i thought it was a really cool idea.
