pt_highlongjumps (My map)

Hi, I've made a new sort of longjumping (I think it's new atleast). It's about jumping to blocks that goes higher and higher, all the LJ's in the map are 235 units, but they get higher.

The first one is 0, that is a normal 235 LJ jump, the next one is 1 units, that is a 235 LJ jump with the block your jumping to one unit higher then the one your jumping from.

You should start on the blocks that are closest to you when you start and end at the blocks near the wall with the signs.


This is not an official map, I made this to see how high/long some of you pro-LJ'ers could jump.
There shouldn't be any problem playing the map, but if there is, think of that it is my first map :rolleyes:

The quality is bad on the signs thanks to paint.. On the real map they are very good quality :P

There is also a secret room in the map you can try to find^^


So how long can you jump? Demo is nice also. I have jumped 7 units.

there is no difference between 24 unit high 235 and 48 :/

ahhh I understand, nice idea but the textures are bad :/

nothing spcial, comparable to ownesvalley jumps, but still nice...

got 9 or 10 after a few minutes, but i'm not active anymore, so it's quite bad i think...

some good jumpers can pwn the hardest probably

got 10 and 11 first try. and then 12 after some tries, and then i gave 13 some tries but didnt make it :/

If someone gets 15 i guess ill have to make some more =)

If there anything else that i could change so tell me.. Like if the blocks should be more away from eachother (so you can hit the edge more easily)


EDIT: Also, there are many spawnpoints so you could put up a server with the map if you want (I don't know if the download would work with the .wad though..)

You mean the links to map download and screenshots?

For me they work perfectly.. Maybe the site was down a few minutes when you try? It's a very good Upload-site for small things ;)
