Cspromod Signup & keys

[blockquote]CSP Beta Keys to be Offered
As we inch towards the release of the open beta, coming in less than a week, we'd like to provide some lucky members of the community with the early opportunity to test the mod in the coming days.

There are no strings attached to this offer; there's only one rule: we'll only start giving out beta keys when the CSP Steam Community Page reaches 20,000.

As many of you may have observed by now, earlier today the CSP Steam Community Page was deleted. We don't know why, and we're trying to find out more details, but we know that we won't let this set us back. So, we ask that all of you RE-JOIN the CSP Steam Community Group as soon as possible. Also, please post on this thread in the Steam Forums in support of CSP.

So, to summarize:
1) Re-Join the CSP Community Page
2) Post on This Thread in the Steam forums
3) At 20,000 Members, Beta Keys Given Out

Thanks,

Alex[/blockquote]

[blockquote]Steam Community Page Update; Beta Key Clarification
After a telephone discussion with Valve's Patrick M., I'm happy to clarify the situation regarding CSP's Steam Community Page. To summarize, the deletion of the Steam Group was accidental on Valve's part; they meant to delete a different "CSP Fan Club" group which was in violation of our logo copyright. We are told that Valve will NOT be able to restore the former user database of 15,500+ to the group; So, we ask that everyone continue to Re-Join the CSP Steam Community Group. So far, we have almost 2,000 members in just an hour!

Our promise to start issuing Closed Beta Copies at 20,000 members still stands. To clarify: THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE PUSHING BACK THE RELEASE DATE OF THE MOD. It simply means that if you all dedicate yourselves to populating the Steam Community Page, some of you could be playing CSProMod TONIGHT instead of a few days from now.

Thanks,

Alex[/blockquote]
