Not sure 'bout 278+, but i'm pretty close to it. PreStrafe: 277.907562 at the moment. btw NumB i think it's time to change max pre from 276.x to 279.x in ljstats... demo: http://ifolder.ru/3804860 (just enter code in the box and press link under it, then click link again)
I know a way to get constant 278 pre. :)
Also, my lj script gets 275.xx pre every time. It currently can jump 238 consistently, I just have to tweak it a bit. :)

Ye, 278 is possile, but imo impossible to do good strafes after pre - If somebody could check that dem i would be happy, because ljstats didnt showed the distance etc :(
Btw my max pre in lj - 276.5xx, cj - 286.1xx
