Which kind of records do you rate highest?
hm dunno really..lj wr is pretty exclusive:D but a kz map, if u do a really nice run its _maybe_ better then lj wr..but well

2 kz map wr (xtreme maps like caseblock h etc:D)
3 dunno:D 4 me the only thing real in kz atm is kz maps and lj:D (i suxx at cj and i never try bhoplj and highjumps are fun but id rather do normal lj instead of hj:D)

Agreed, dont care about how many untis you can jump, just make sure you can jump far enough to complete the maps.

>then all other ez-med maps

why cj on top of all other lj categories? simple : you jump farther so its more useful (ull be able to do more scs etc). so if ur a consistent cjer you can do some amazing stuff.
then hj over lj because 99% of all maps have hjs/cjs instead of ljs.
and bhop records are just a waste of time, you just gotta get lucky :D (ull never be able to do 2-3x 240 bhops in a row for example)

well, doesn`t a map have lj`s,cj`s, bhop lj`s in it?
it`s the perfect way to see how good u r in lj,cj,hj,etc...

took a year to go up 1 unit, so dont expect 256 to happen anytime soon :O
How can somebody say that hj rec is higher than lj rec? Which one would you like, hj rec (242) or lj rec (256)?
Lj rec gives muuuch moore fame to jumper than some unnecessery hj.

I think 80% of the jumps in all KZ maps is highjumps, so it's kinda necessary IMO. :P Try to read what I already wrote in my first post in this thread. And just because hj's are less units than lj's, it doesen't mean that a lj is better. It's more like the other way around. Highjumps are just harder, and I think we all agree on that.

Hey, yes they are necessary on normal kz maps, but not imo on "ljs". Hjs has been jumped much less time than ljs, so the hj record will raise to 242->. But lj record, i dont think its going to raise anymore, maybe 256 but not after that.
So in my eyes if you jump that 256, youll become a hero but if you jump 242 in hj, its just like "gj".
I dont still get it why you rank hj higher than lj...
btw, i wouldnt say that hjs are harder, toatally different jumps and 256 can be as hard as 242hj (which is not imo, 242 is much easyer than 256).
So those jumps cannot be compared.

04/11/2007 14:12Well I get your point, because lj is the "original", everybody knows how to do it and stuff. But I just think that a 242 hj would be more impressive than a 255 lj. Though 255 is really insane.
Highjumps are harder because you have to think of that damn edgefriction all the time, on longjump blocks it's just like get to the edge and jump..
