ctrl+U for ungroup the "broken" block, and apply the preset for all blocks. (255 solid, func_wall with ctrl+T)
Maybe that.

Wrong RGB Index. It hasn't the index of 255

the whole thing is "broken" and its not the settings of the entity, cuz when i changed the texture it worked. i explained that i had the settings right in my first post :E but how do you change the index?

the PIC must be named "{XXXXX"

such as

{glass

{wood

{gate

"{ " is also very important

I think it is 256. The last color of the 8bit palette must be RGB(0,0,255). You have to use the color of that index for all pixels that should be invisible.

Edit: It is 255 if your index is zero based ;)

it is { and i tried the link you sent me pfoll thanks... yet it said to use the eyedropper tool and select a primary color. wally wouldnt let me select a primary color at all, only secondary or whatever.

I used to have this problem for transparent textures I made. What I do is just make my background black and translate colors in Wally to 0,0,255 blue and it works perfectly. :)
