Problem with goddamn Ventrilo

I can't talk on Ventrilo. I can talk when I go to test and it works fine there. What's the problem? I reinstalled my audio card drivers. I reinstalled multiple times. I deleted all files connected with Ventrilo (searched the computer and deleted them all) and tried with 3 different versions.....Same problem.

try to set output and input devices "Default wave mapper" and untick "Use direct sound", thats how it works well for me
