How to create models?

hi!

i'm searching how to create models, i've been trying to user milkshape3D but i can't export it to .mdl

anyone can help me please? give me the name of a program wich can make .mdl :)

I know almost nothing about that stuff but I think there is a thing you can make models with in Source SDK?

You can make models in milkshape 3D.. And then generate a .qc file -> rendering it to a .mdl :)

sorry but i don't think that s0liD will make a small tutorial because modeling is much more complex as mapping, but on the web are many milkshape tutorials.

If you want to compile a model for HL you need to list all the animations, model and skins in the .qcfile and then you need the Valve's studiomdl for compiling it to an .mdl file.
