In the most bhop maps u can see when u jumped a bhopstage and missed it the jumps through the ground this is because the mapper did it wrong i'll show u now how to make it right:

1. create your bhopstage

http://www.abload.de/img/1cqt14.jpg

2. when u create your bhop block u have to look for this:

http://www.abload.de/img/2ca6pg.jpg <- wrong! there it would be ugly ingame because the upper face will be on the same level then the ground and so there will be a small bug like on every 2nd bhopmap for example:
http://www.abload.de/img/5y1lky.jpg

so build the bhopblock 1+ units into the ground like that:
http://www.abload.de/img/3pifqm.jpg
and it won't be visible after be locked at the ground...

3. to entity

i choose for my bhopblocks speed 400, delay 1 i think it looks best...

dEMolite told me that it is possible when u set the lip to -1 and it works also :)

i hope u understood everything at questions i'm at #mappers just query me or ask free in the channel :)

I like a bit slower blocks, because if they're too fast it feels like they're down before you even touch them!

make the blocks at the same high like the ground and use lip -4 or +4
and speed 150-200 pls :)

Uhm, use lip? Diapering in ground sucks

What does lip even do?

I've always made my hops +/- 1 unit to the ground but now I know what lip is used for. Thanks! :)

Lip, is the value where the block stops to movie. And turn back. If you have a block like 64 units height. And you set lip to 32. The block stops moving when its 32units above the ground.

i do it the same way as raver :) you just add a little bit of lip to every bhop and they wont have to stick into the ground at all. you can make a block move further than it would normally using negative lip as well.
