i know i know every mapper does his/her own jumps and that isn't bad at all but one thing should be close to every jump

the magic thing is func_wall
first i'll show u what happens when u don't func_wall your jumps:

so
1. create your brush which should be the jump
http://www.abload.de/img/4e0ypo.jpg

2. make it to an "func_wall"
http://www.abload.de/img/5yp1at.jpg

3. when the jump block is more in the wall then outside there will be a face black like that:

so map it so that the bigges part of the brush is outside and u won't have any problems

ps: u can't map one func_wall into another one :)

Btw, another magic think. Dont create blocks IN a wall ... saves allot of light bugs

raver do you mean overlapping inside a wall? the overlap can lead to other errors down the road if its done too much as well, can't it?

Wrong :E Just cut the block in half. Makes more wpoly though. (Or does it?)

bump! agree with raver. don't get used to making blocks into walls. it can cause light and/or other "cosmetic" bugs.

i prefer build the blocks outside walls, cost more time on some cases but it is bug safe
