So, here it is.

I was thinking, if XJ is in need of money, why dont they arrange a tournament (pay n' play).

Lets say that the buyin prize would be 2£

since many members of XJ is underage it should be a reasonable prize.

And lets say that at least 100 people would join ( small buyin prize, a small donation, for the ones who got money)

That would be 200 £. and XJ could keep 100.. and the rest would go to the winner, the winenr could get a map named after him or vip for a long time... the other 100 should be splitted to teh 4 best ranked players.

1. 50 £
2. 30 £
3. 20 £

something like that...

sound nice?

this could even be a monthly thing... then xj would get some money every month...

// 1 who wants XJ to exist for a little longer =)

Nice idea, but I don't really think 100 people would enter the tournament if the fee is £2. KZ-SCA tournament was FREE, and it got like... 15 people playing?

and brian will win anyway, so why bother playing the 2 pounds

brian is one good candidates of winning the cup, but, don't forget that there exists many good players here at xj:D

i think this is a good idea, and it would be fun to follow and/or participate:D maybe something for the guys with motivation, dedication and a few hours of extra time to organize?:D

I dont mean "100" iy ywould be nice if it was just 20.. anywho, maybe people with a job or some extra cash-flow could participate for fun...

and brian would win anyway, i dont think he has time every month to play... =)

and btw, if its monthly...

it would always save xj some extra money..

i think if the prize was tempting enough, people would pay

3month VIP or a map dedication would surely draw some people in (imo)

yes but I think the competition should be divided in let's say 3 sections according to the skill level .. why should an intermediate jumper compete with the pros.. it's very demotivating.. the question is how to prevent good jumpers joining the lowest skill section :D

Maybe you could have some qualifiers to decide which players are allowed to play where.
