How did you find out about kreedzing?
22/02/2008 12:54(edited 22/02/2008 12:55)simply found a kz_ map on a server, and then i tryed it. thought it was cool. then alittle later after some playing, i saw SuPa's movie "living legends" and i though: OMG i want to be able to do that! so i played more and more untill i found some danish dudes i could jump with. from there i started mapping aswell, one of the danish dudes was guardix, wich tought me to map!

Well, it must have been around like .. 2004 or something. I think kz_6fd_volcano had just been released. My brother was somehow playing it, and I thought it looked fun, so I joined the server too. Around the autumn of 2006 I was into surfing, and think I entered a surf/KZ server that was playing kz_man_terablock. I got stuck at a jump around the 3rd level or so, and a nice guy (called zim) came down from top and helped me, and told me to only duck at the end of each jump, not crouch-jump everything. From that time, he tought me pretty much everything about KZ, and here I am. :)
Hahaha! I went through that duck-problem myself, I didn't get to know that you should push duck at the end of the jump, before around christmas-time this year. Thanks to a friend of mine called ReCore, which introduced me to LJ'ing, bhopping and other stuff. I have always known bhopping though, but I never really got it.
I can't remember the first time playing a kz-map, but I used to play kz-maps with some friends a long time ago, of course we were jumping with duck constantly and used cp's everywhere.
I've been through pretty much everything in CS: Surfing, Hns, KZ, WC3, Superhero, Normal/PCWs, Bhopping, I know there's more, but I can't remember right now.
I never knew there was bhopping maps until I played Bunnyheaven with recore, I loved the map, and joined XJ to find more bhop-maps. Later I learned everything about LJ'ing, bhopping and I became greater than Recore, but he had already quit CS at that time.
I had never heard about strafing before that.
Now a days, I spend my time losing KZ-cups and never finishing maps, because I can't make that perfect run..
after playing a 5on5, a guy on vent asked me if i wanted to play a jumpmap, and i was like "wtf is that". he opened a server and the map was po_roboclimb, my first jump map, and after that i searched for more and found goldenbean, which was my first kz_ map, and after that i found kzmaps and jump-cup, and been stuck since
I was searching for new maps to my server.I saw (in the server-finder) kz_... I said 'what the hell is that?' So I wanted to know what is that?! (kz). So i start to joining. But the map was very big , or the server was slow dunno, but the download time was ~11 min. so i click to 'cancel' ...
Than I start thinking. 'Whats that? I'm really curious.So
reconnect. I waited that 11 min.(the map was kz_climbers_b01)...When I joined , I dunno what can I do here. Going spec:) I checked I need to jumping...
If i remember good...:)

Played on my friends server with him and his friend (autumn 2007), he was searching for interesting maps and somehow found kz_cg_lavacliff. It was too hard so we just teleported ourselves to the end.
Didn't play kz for few months after that until the February 2008, when I was playing cs with the friend of mine at my place. He found kz.ee's public server, so we got onto it and played bkz_pyramidblock. Have played kz since then.
I was watching some videos and suddenly i found a movie called Z0ck3rOO7 on bkz_goldbhop wr 1:39 or something. And I was like whaat is that?? I Have searched a little bit and found. Anyways i can say i started KZ because of that movie. :)
saw mah bro playing in the '08 HNS and tried it... bout 1 year later i got interested in KZ by jusuuh

I first played kz in 2004 or 2005 when my bother bought his computer, i started doing maps with my bother. I remember I could bhop with 2 strafes and he would only do 1 and he would do better times than me xD then i stoped playing kz for a long time and in 2008 i found hns and got back to kz
back then in 2004/5 i didnt know about xj obviusly, I played in a portuguese server the only one back then I guess. they were kz-pt

I'm not really sure when I tried Kreedz the first time. I'm pretty sure it was long after it came out.. sometime in 2004.
So soon after I got CS 1.6 I already started playing mods like Warcraft and Superhero, I really liked the community "Gamers-Fun", they had like 1000000000 mod-servers. They got a kz server, I jumped on the map for like 2minutes and went to Superhero and Soccerjam again. Soon I was going to do my second movie ever "Gamer-Fun the Movie", showing every mod. Ofcourse I had to do a jumpdemo, so I took some time, just recorded how I climbed 1 stage and left again. Soon I discovered "hidenseek", don't really know how tho'. Ofcourse if you play hidenseek you will soon learn to strafe and such, so I went on to play some bunnyhop, climbing was still very boring, after some time I met "AnDmAsTe" who told me how to longjump etc. thats my story hope you like
My friend ( Who doesn't even play cs at all ) told me 'bout this mod HNS so I tried it out and later I found out what kreedz was. :-)
15/08/2010 08:07(edited 15/08/2010 08:07)Let's say almost 4 years ago, I was playing CS on some random server, and saw a player " SmK " ( <3 ) that was jumping like a crazy, on de_inferno @ B base, Doing some nub tricks on those crates from there. I said " wtf wanna do some crazy shits tho ". He explained me how to strafe to make some of the jumps from there but still couldn't left W from first =). After like a 1h on LAN ( yea I made a lan server and called him ) we went to a KZ server, damn I loved the mod from the first jumps ( maybe cause I was free-running in that time tho ). My first map was kz_luonto.
Played few months and I left KZ :( After almost 1 year I wanted to join some random CS server and bum, redirected me to some other server, surprise it was a KZ server. Can't remember the map, winter themed anyway. And that's how I started to jump again.
Short time after that I searched for RJ to see if the site is still online/etc.
....
Well i found it from a Bulgarian servers called man1a and i was playing their CS 1.6 servers and after that i went to their web site to see something and i found out Jump Servers and i went to see what jump was, and it proofed to be interesting and i started playing it :)
