I know its boring the "Pheonix Down" or the "BUMPs", but I saw the kz_jumprun WR by zocker and have bhop LJ stats. Zocker, you are using a Beta or exclusive for you?

SchlumPF23/03/2008 02:35

zocker is beta tester. lt rat gave it away to a few ppl for testing only.

Okay, now I know, I will wait. thanks sch.

I have started to work on a new longjumps plugin bicouse I realy dont like the way how current one is writen. I think the only good thing in current lj plugin is that it shows more or less correct distance. Im trying to figure it out how do they measure it.

There are some things I totally dont understand in the current plugin. Parts of code is writen in the way to work with custom gravity (like 700). Another parts is against that...And performance is terible.

If someone could explain how to measure distance correctly he would save me a lot of time. Probably I wont make anything good but I wana get a try :)

I havent done much at the moment. My plugin should measures lj/cj/weird jumps and bhop however my measurment is bad. And there is no stuff at the moment like sync, maxspeed, beams. Bicouse I am trying to figure it out how to measure the distance.

And my idea was to separate into two plugins: one plugin should just measure the distance and send info to another plugin. So other one should print everything out and maybe have a top system. There are many advantages of such separation.

i totaly agree with you. code is terrible especialy the menu which does need more then 3k lines. pls if u try to make one let it just measure and show stats. nothing else so no top15 etc which is not needed. the main idea of ljstats is showing the distance so just code this. all those crap like the spamming chat messages or beams etc are not needed and just increase the cpu usage. if u need help or just some support contact me in irc/steam because i would really like a new ljstats which is as accurate or even better then the old one but with better code :)

no, they wont so stfu.

Z0ck3rOO728/03/2008 16:32

can you see the age of my post? at this time they wanted to do it together, so stfu.

Lt.RAT29/03/2008 22:18(edited 29/03/2008 22:20)

and now i think that only I want to do it together...

im also become intrested in lite version of ljstats
so, where is the latest version of sources, than i`ll try to implement good and universal (if it needed) distance calculation...
i have good ideas how to find real points where u jump and fall (not distance between frameOrigin and edge), but it is unimportant for this project

but i have no time for this now :( but i`ll try to do it, it should take only 1 night :) also i have lj/bhopscript, so i can perform tests with good repetition and compare values of diffrent ljstats...

PS 13 post, sorry for my russian english :)
