cpl mouse fix or not?
couldnt find a thread like this on here... (if pro jumpers use it or not :D)
so do u use it while jumping? :D
I'm far from a pro, but I do use it :)
What does it do?
Disables mouse acceleration.
whats the cmd?
its a program :P
program? no.. it just disables windows mouse acceleration, or in other words makes your sensitivity lower/more exact (i believe)
its a .reg file
i use it
I remember lots of threads like this...
Anyways, Imho it's impossible to LJ with mouse acceleration, don't know about climbing in general but on hard maps I can imagine it being harder with.
I don't use CPL-fix since i'm on Vista... but I do play without acceleration, so YES ;)
I dont understant how is "Mouse acceleration". Can anyone explain?
Like ichirou say i can't see how you can climb with mouse acceleration .
i don't use it.
how do you disable this mouse acceleration??
-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd in cs shortcut properties, if I understood right. Well I dont really saw the difference between playing with acceleration and w/o it. That's because im noob and can't play well in any conditions. :(
Maybe because there wasn't difference? Those cs parameters alone won't disable mouse acceleration, you need to tweak Windows too. You can use either mousefix or your mouse driver (like setpoint).

Well for me they helped alone, but I still installed CPL mouse fix and they help A LOT! I tried to do LJ with my new mouse and couldn't do 240, then disabled the acceleration and BAM! 250!

I use those CMDs _ONLY_, and it disables the acceleration, cant play without those cmds, no feeling.
Do i need to type these cmds (-noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd) in CS even though if i've disabled mouse acceleration in logitech settings? Maybe this is the reason for my bad strafes lately..? :E
zhady, you suck no matter woot you do, kebabish? (capish)
mouse acceleration sux fo sho, the first thing what i did after reinstalling windows was to "install" mousefix ;)
i dont use it and never tried
