Hi i just bought a new computer and i want to know if my craphic card is good...


Mobility Radeon X1400 .... or is it bad ? :E

hm, Ati is not the best choice in case of playing counter-strike. I had far better fps with my GeForce. Now I have the Radeo Ati x850pro card and only problems.

(Don't tell me cs mainly uses CPU power! It's just what I encountered.)

nVIDIA is better graphics card for cs and playing, and Radeon X1400 isn't good. u won't even have 100fps on every map. not even close.

You buy the computer first and then do the actual research? :)

If you're buying a new gfx card just for cs, I suggest Geforce 8600. Geforce 8800 gt (g92) and Radeon HD 3870 have some problems drawing hl1 games properly. If you want to buy 8800gt or 3870hd just for cs, 3870hd is better, it has less problems with hl1 engine. Geforce 8800gt is 10-15% faster in most games though.
