cant record demos [solved]
Hi , i have a strange problem since yesterday , i cant record any demo .
When i type: record "demoname" i just get that message :
"You must be in an active map spawned on a machine that allows creation of files in cstrike"
I first thought i had too much demo so i deleted some , it wasnt that.
then i thought i had not enough space on my harddisk so i delete some files , but it still doesnt work .
Can someone help me ?

i think it might have something to do with your cstrike folder? not really sure tho
i recently downloaded the mappack of fatalis , the folder is now ~ 4.2 Gb. Is it possible its too much for that folder ?
do you have vista and do you run cs in administrator mode?
i use Xp pro and my session is administrator
maybe folder is set to read only?
u must be on server that u can record...
Ok i have found what was the problem ,
The file : Demoheader.dmf was damaged and unreadable
