That maybe true, I thought about it to..but ur movement when ur surfing while ducking gets abit fucked so im not sure if its better..

uhm why would that be? imo the duck movement is same as the stand up movement if aa is on 100. i've been surfing for quite a long time now and i got used to always duck myself while strafing into a surfwave to be smoother. though i believe im the only one who does that :p

but i were always able to do most of the tricks with that technique so i think its no disadvantage.
