surfing
Hi guys,
I am writing, because I need a little help. I looked for topics, which could help me but i didn't find that's why I have to ask you. The question is how to surf? It may sound very stupid lame and so on but i don't really know how to do it. When I watch kz movies or demos it seems to be very easy but i do not know which buttons I should press and i hope someone will spend some time to explain me.

You can tune up your movement with mouse.
Finetuning for the slide.
Don´t press in the ramp the buttons:
W, S, duck, jump!!!
I dont know better, but for exemple:

look with mouse to left. how more you look at left, more fast you will surf but you will fall more. So you most know the perfect direction for dont fall and have the best speed. For "fly" far, with high speed you must look at right and you will "fly":

When you're on the right side of the surf ramp, you press you're move left button, and when you're on the left side, you do the same but with you're move right button.
always try to surf downwards to gain speed. and it doesnt matter if u press jump or duck while surfing. (but i recomm u to not do so, cuz its senseless except u want to surf small areas where u have to duck).

09/05/2008 01:21surfing is pretty much a glitch in the engine so that you can slide along a steep slope. depending on what side of the surf ramp youre on, just press the key against it, as if youre trying to run up it.
right side: hold a
left side: hold d
also, NEVER CROUCH it'll make you slide right off.
yeah don't crouch, i dono what that kid was talking about that said it doesn't matter, well it does...

Always hold A or D, depending on what side your on nothing else.
Look down slightly not too much beacuse then you'll start loosing speed, and don't look upwards that'll make you slide backwards eventually.
When you want to fly up high from a ramp start looking upwards towards the end of the ramp, and t fly far forwards, just keep the same mouse position.
Just practise a little on any surf map and after while it will seem natural for you.
lol, sry bout the crouch thingy. i thought u were asking about sv_airaccelerate 100 surfing.
and fuck the kid who called me a kid.
there are so many people asking me HOW to surf when i do it... i realy dont know haha.. i just do it and i get it good :P so i realy cant explain anything
