Recording demo problem

hay whenever i start a demo my cs pauses ever 1 second for about 0.5 seconds. and as soon as i stop the demo its back to normal any ideas on how i can fix this problem would be good :D thnx

I think it could be a cvar problem, anyone got any ideas?
