Premiere: shooting-star on kz_adv_underground + recent edits and more

Today we would like to present you our newest premiere, summarize recent edits and give few smaller updates. Let's go!

shooting-star has been on fire lately, dropping multiple new world records with impressive time improvements. Probably all of them could be edited, this time his run on kz_adv_underground has been chosen. The map itself is a classic - over two decades of history with some of the most recognizable names within the community as previous record holders. Last couple of years however seems like a constant battle between two giants: rawe and shooting-star. This time shooting-star improves the record by way over 7 seconds!

 

The edit itself is an attempt to tell a story. It's not trying to be loud, dynamic and or detour you from the run itself. It tries to immerse you into the climb. Music is there to build up the atmosphere - there are no kicks or snares, instead all you have is jumping, stepping, landing sounds and if your imagination allows that - you can pretend that there is a heartbeat of someone who is on his attempt to beat the world record. From the depths of a wet, underground cave, with each step echoing through its walls, throughout mysterious and cozy forest, we accompany shooting-star in his journey through a map by pLANE.

 

 

 

Turn up the volume, sit down comfortably and enjoy the show (suggesting the full screen!)

 

 

 

 

Recent edits:

 

Dolphin on cg_cbblebhop (by -CarNaGe.)

 

 

I believe many of you have already seen it, but here's the recently released edit by -CarNaGe.!

While this record has been released over a year ago, it still holds strong and remains unbeaten today. Dolphin has improved shNz's previous time on cg_cbblebhop by over half a second!

-CarNaGe. decided to go with warm and pleasurable color palette, liquid drum&bass as well as improved... liquid (beautifully enhanced water ofc! + enhanced textures). All that combined with few simple but effective campaths makes a one, really enjoyable edit!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

flores on kz_toscana (by Thunder)

 

 

Another edit that was released few days ago focuses on flores's run on another legendary map - kz_toscana. Beating shooting-star's record by nearly 4 seconds, he runs smoothly and scares locals by jumping over their roofs and windows. 

Edit-wise, there are three main points of focus: summer vibes, beauty of the map that imitates Tuscan countryside and postcard-like shots. Vibrant colors, birds and body-moving music aims to bring you into a good mood!

Second channel update:

Our second channel that was created to separate edits from clean recordings and focuses on regularly released World Record demos (https://www.youtube.com/@KREEDZcomRECORDS) is now approaching some cool milestones!

 

 

Thanks to continuous work by our Demo Checking Team, who released over 100 demos since the introduction of the new channel + reuploads that I had a chance to move from one channel to another, we are at 947 released videos (at the time of writing).

 

In less than 4 months since the channel creation, we have reached a milestone of 200 subscribers, almost 900 valid public watch hours and we are close to reach a crazy number of 40,000 views!

 

Many of the released demo recordings have already reached numbers way higher than some of the ones uploaded previously to our main channel (and those numbers are quite consistent!) and while we are still far from the biggest numbers we sometimes pulled with those clean recordings, the growth of the channel looks really optimistic for the future and it already outgrows the initial expectations!
