Kreedz.com & Kreedz.bg Extreme-Death Maps Tournament 2026 [€250 + Outside In-Person Check Gear]

By p0ker Tournament #2 VIP··Tournament

Dear community,

Kreedz.com and Kreedz.bg are joining forces to host their first-ever X-D Tournament!

This tournament is part of our ongoing changes towards accepting a wider variety of maps, as we did with last year's slide tournament. This year, we will continue doing the same by celebrating the 6 newly released X-D maps that came out of the X-D Mapping Contest 2026. We believe that Kreedz is not limited to just climb maps and has evolved into a gamemode that uses all kinds of movement obstacles to challenge players. Rest assured, though, that both the next mapping competition and player tournament will go back to their original roots.

As originally promised, the mouse and keyboard that were used for the outside live check will be part of the prize pool for this tournament, and as is tradition, we will additionally add €100, with the possibility of increasing the amount via additional donations.

Now, without further ado, let's get into the nitty-gritty:

Schedule:

15 of November (SUN): 17:00 (5 PM) CET to ~21:00 (9 PM CET)

Registration deadline: 11 of November (WED):

Tournament Format: Progressive Weighted Points System

• Melee Style. Everyone vs Everyone.

• Restarts are allowed. Progress is saved.

• The usage of checkpoints and teleports is allowed.

• Six maps total

• Cup time will be determined by the map's length and difficulty. Generally, players are not expected to finish them, so whoever's the furthest, wins.

Updated Points Format:

We have decided to update the original points based format because it had certain flaws whenever players got around to the last few maps. Since everyone gained equal amount of points per map, this meant that some players were already guaranteed to either win or lose no matter what they did.

To make the competition more exciting and meaningful for everyone involved, we're introducing a Progressive Weighted Points System, where each successive map awards more points than the previous one. This gives players more opportunities to climb the standings and potentially make a comeback as the tournament progresses.

The system is designed to reward consistent performances while ensuring that the later maps carry enough weight to keep the competition exciting until the very end. That does not mean every player can suddenly win on the final map, they still need to showcase great performance throughout.

Thanks to fxr and some AI shenanigans, we will use this formula for the weighted points that would also account for the different number of players:

Where:

  • N = number of players in the group

  • r = player's finishing position on the map

  • k = map number (1 through 6)

    EXAMPLE WITH 10 PLAYERS

    MapMultiplier1st placeLast place
    1x 1.00101
    2x 1.2612.601.26
    3x 1.5915.881.59
    4x 2.00202.00
    5x 2.5225.202.52
    6x 3.1831.763.18

• Players earn points based on their placement on each map. First place gets the most points, last place gets the least.

• Each successive map has a higher points multiplier, making later maps more valuable and allowing for potential comebacks.

• The multiplier automatically adjusts based on the number of signed up players

• The player with the most accumulated points after all six maps wins the tournament.
• 20 players limit. First come, first served.
