Hello,

some fresh meat for you! And more to come!

Remember that we still would love Apprentice (xj_ap) maps as well!

Please note: We will need a recording of someone jumping the entire map!

Since I'm not much of a jumper I mostly want to see how a map is done, how jumps are done and get a feeling for how hard it will be to complete without checkpoints. It's mostly a test to see that the map at least is possible to finish. If someone sneaks in impossible maps then we will address it and you'll have to record a demo of someone completing the map without checkpoints. For now, if you can provide a recording of you (or a testjumper) completing the map with a few checkpoints then it likely won't be a problem for someone to make a World Record on it. I just don't think it is needed to bother you to make a demo over and over if you make small mistakes on jumps.

Hello community,

We are very thrilled to announce something that should had been done long ago. Unfortunately we didn't have the resources to make it happen, but now that it's about to change. We are going to keep this news as short and as easy to comprehend as possible, same as the new system will be!

Chapter I: THE PAST
Xtreme-Jumps.eu has always represented a benchmark in the KZ industry, being very rigorous about their map acceptance policy. This decision always stirred up some chatter about us being too strict concerning our mappool. This, together with the actual checking procedure, which was very long and time consuming, made our fellow mappers retire or move to other places. However, times where different and we only wanted to bring out the best in you guys. But we got to a point where we no longer afford to keep the same policy and things must change. And so they will!

Due to the Steam release of the game the rule about player name matching your XJ username is nullified. And due to the later Steam update of the game, the demos pending from an older version of kz_mix_multitude are impossible to view and cannot be accepted.

Description : High-level difficulty maps are what we are used to seeing from mapper hoLy, and this one is no exception. The insilio leader has cooked up a challenge quite fitting for most advanced players looking to be tested. Brightly-lit rooms and Russian-style textures; expect to see an appearance from every discipline in our game.

Greetings XJ!

One more thing has befallen our sight! After his latest run of the week video, which was impressive, our dear member Malaysia, who tightens his grip even more for this one, pleases us with work better than ever before.
We're having Cupe, in one of the eye-candy runs from his recent comeback, which hopefully promises more wonderful demos in the near future!

Greetings XJ,

[YouTube Link]ROTW #163 - kzz1lla on kz_highlands

Presenting the justification of the recent shortcut hunt from shooting-star. This is simply monstrous, beating what seemed like a perfect run before your very eyes. This marks history for kz_highlands!
On the moviemaking side, malaysia takes the wheel again and doesn't disappoint us, consistently providing quality content for our hearts and souls. Enjoy the show!

We want to remind you that demos recorded after 1st of July with /showpre (or any similar) plugin will NOT be accepted. Make sure you disabled the plugin and got everything set up correctly.
Instructions on how to disable the plugin can be found in demo recording rules section.
Old demos with /showpre will NOT be removed.

Greetings XJ,

Mark our words: this ROTW will become legendary!
fykseN is an uprising star who managed to squeeze himself into what KZ has the best to offer! kz_bridge is one of the best oldschool maps who has been conquered by some names that will make your head spin: kimo, 007, Dujes or tarGet. See what we are talking about? Good job fykseN!

Also, reminding that if you'd like to contribute to our ROTW (including ROTW Classics) series - PM me.

IMPORTANT: Due to a low number of players the cup will be canceled. We are really sorry about this incovinience but in our opinion that is the best decision at the moment. Anyway we gonna keep the same maps for the next monthly cup! Have a nice weekend!

Tournament tree: http://challonge.com/monthlycup10

Scheduled: 24 June, 18:00 to ~20:30 CET and 25 June, 18:00 to ~20:30 CET.
