Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Hello XJ!

Fresh KZmod maps, what a way to kick-off the weekend!

Our latest addition to the KZmod admin crew - Kangaroo, who can be considered as a true oldschool KZmod fellow, finished these three projects lately and it's time for the community to enjoy from the beautiful results. 8 new playable routes have been added to the records list. These maps are great mixes of innovative jumps and good looks. What are you waiting for?

Hello community!

Now that the 1st Round is finished, before going any further, I would like to address a few words to each and everyone of you. The fact that we have received 5 demos is a bit dissapointing, as we all know there are a lot of great players and new talents as well as the "average" individuals that can compete in this event. You all asked for new challenges, competitions and stuffs like that, but when they actually happen we see no interest from your side whatsoever in taking part in the daily XJ routine and more importantly, in helping this community be an active place.

Hello community,

We are very glad to announce that the recent Admin Recruiting announcement was a success. We have received 18 applications and all of them were accepted. For each application our admins voted separately and it looks like in the end it was a clear win for everyone.

We are really happy to see people willing to help this community and with this we are also showing good faith towards the ones who want to help, by reducing the acceptance standards and basically being as open minded as possible.

Good evening!

The Run of the Week demos have been chosen and it's time to present them for you guys.

For the 1.6 #172 Run of the Week edition we have chosen shooting-star's demo on fof_32. It wasn't an easy choice from the WR Release #688 as shooting-star had prepared quite a showcase of demos. I asked KRATER if he was interested to edit the ROTW and was pleased to see that his answer was yes. Expect a great performance combined with a chilling edit.

Hello community!

We are less than one week away from the 1st Round deadline, 29.02.2016, of the prochallenge2_speed map by Kic.
That will be the last day when you will be able to send in your demos, as on 01.03.2016 we will give the start for 1st Round - 2nd Phase.

Use Submit Demos function like any other demo submission.
At the moment we have received just 2 demos, so this is your chance to grab a spot!

Hello dear community,

It gives us great pleasure to announce something very special.

While plans are being made to fully integrate CS:GO KZ into XJ, we thought it would be a great idea to form a special team of the best CS:GO KZ players, giving them a special status, as KZ Ambassadors.

The team will consist of:
eightbO
kayne (ruben)
Jokkan (linus)
g-Lp
one more member is awaited

This special team will spread awareness over the entire KZ scene, especially the CS:GO KZ one, of the fact that KZ has a lot to offer and that it will keep expanding, especially now when Xtreme-Jumps.eu is about to take under its wing CS:GO KZ.

A major visual KZmod update is out, please update the game right away! Run the updater shortcut from your desktop or find the updater from
"\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\KreedzClimbing\KZUpdate.bat"
The most important thing that KZMod Update - Build 2551 fixes is the duck animation bug. This and the added greenscreening commands are a big step forward for moviemaking in KZmod, expect a full moviemaking tutorial to be posted in XJ pretty soon. Ducks no longer glitch like they did before on demos. Note, the fix works

Hello climbers!

Its been a while since the last map release, but fortunately mappers were busy lately and brought us some nice maps. They did a great job. You can see below that there is wide range of map types and difficulties this time, so we hope everyone will find something very interesting for themselves there.

Mapcheck team also ready to answer any of your questions and assist all the mappers that contact us - so don't hesitate to get in touch!

Good evening XJ!

I hope you've had a nice start to this weekend. For XJ, this late friday night means yet another run highlighted from the last KZmod WR release, before we release our demos in waiting. The battle for the fastest kz_xtremeblock run continues, this time it's cahz0r using a bunch of little shortcuts and his fast pace on one of the most legendary hard climb maps out there. psh's clip shows off the beauty of KZmod by providing an enjoyable view experience throughout the run in snowy environment.

Hello community,

Lately we managed to bring back some activity with the help of our fellow admins, but to keep doing so and eventually taking it to the next level, we need reinforcements!

We are recruiting admins for 1.6 KZ, KZMod and CS:GO KZ as follows:

1.6 KZ open spots:
-coders/designers (website maintenance as well)
-cup and tournament admins
-map admins
-movie admins
-writers (articles, interviews, etc.)

Good morning fellow kreedzers!

First of all I want to announce that we're looking for more moviemakers to edit the ROTWs. For regular 1.6 ROTWs, please send a private message on the site to me ( WeMeRA) and for KZmod ROTWs, send a PM to jusuuh.

Now to the ROTWs, this time we have a special release for the community.

The latest World Record from the ROTW #170 (hrznnn on its_mistcavern) was our choice to be shown for the #170 ROTW, however
