Hello community,

One month has passed since the announcement and now we are ready to present you the results of MEGA POLL 2015. Unfortunately, not all of our users understood the point of the MEGA POLL and a lot of votes were not taken into consideration because they have nothing to do with the year of 2015.
However, in the end we summed a total of 903 votes, which I think counts as a success. We are sure the next one will be even bigger and better!

IT HAS BEGUN! It's finally here! The 2nd edition of the popular XJ Pro-Challenge #1 from approximately 8 years ago!

With names like Supa, brian, Flibo, zhady, faker, omilo, chrizZo, heL^_x, thopa and many others, the event was a tremendous success, having the best of the best compete in some fierce battles!

Let's do that once again, but this time with players from nowadays, in a competition which will probably define the best player that 1.6 KZ had to give.

As you all know, last year we came up with the idea to helm a contest about the hardest map KZ has ever known: fu_extreme. And to make sure that it will be beaten, we have decided to set up a nice prize in cash to motivate everyone. As days passed by, more generous KZ people decided to contribute each with a nice sum and so, at the end, we had a considerable total prize of $551 (it was $651 before 2016). Unfortunately the map remained without a record even after this much money. This only tells us two things: the map is at the moment impossible to beat in a clean run without checkpoints and second, I think we all can agree that we have to take into consideration a change in our plan.

Six years after the trailer above, the movie in progress was forgotten and the dream of a completed trilogy was left behind. No one was expecting this last week, but kDee decided to change the trilogys destiny and finally end what he started.
Many said this was nostalgic and made tears fall from their eyes, so it's obviously worth to show this movie to the whole community.

Let's kick off the weekend with three impressive runs; two KZmod Run of the Week features and one on classic 1.6. The first two from the new game are quite quicky ones, so we hope all three aren't too much for a single post. New KZmod demos are waiting to be released so we figured to empty the queue and move on. Not to mention the upcoming special 1.6 ROTW #171 release. But right now, please enjoy!

Hello dear community,

2015 is now over and we are setting the course for the brand new year 2016.

2015 was a hard year, a lot has happened and most of the times the problems we had to face distracted us from our path, slowing things down and ultimately made us not able to fulfill some of our plans. Nonetheless, we tried our best to keep this site relevant and given the current state of CS 1.6, I think it's safe to say we are still there and Xtreme-Jumps will continue to count and hopefully this year will get us forward, closer to what we all want: a powerful community that will continue having a say on this scene.

We are very pleased to bring forward the following news, as a surprise for Christmas and more importantly as a sign of appreciation for you, the community that keeps this game alive.

It has been long debated about the maps that are ruined due to a fault in their design and thus causing severe changes in their gameplay, as opposed to what the mapper intended to.
The public debates as well as the private ones that us, the admins, had were numerous, most of the times resulting in a draw. Perhaps, due to strict policies and different ideologies, no measures were ever taken on this matter.
