Kreedz.com - CS 1.6 KZ World Records & Maps

Hello ladies and gentlemen,

Today we've got something special for your eyes' pleasure!
The following movie is indeed not something we are accustomed to watch nor feature on our frontpage, but we thought it was an awesome and different way of seeing our beloved KZ maps.

With this project low- strikes once again with a new bomb:
Sticking to his own and recognizable style, he created a 6 minute long video featuring

The water is dripping down my living room window, you all know that slow but powerful feeling of raindrops hitting the window, *pt* *pt* *pt* *pt*, as it drips down the window in different speeds. As a kid, I used to think about how the different drops on the window raced to the finish line, where you couldn't pot them anymore. It all smells just like dry asphalt that just got drenched by the rain, and I'm thinking this is cosy as hell. I sip on a can of Mike's killer lemonade and it refreshes me with the bitey lemon-taste, but at the same time makes me feel less and less emotionally involved in anything. It gives me a buzz that makes me feel good.At the same time I'm eating a few chips, it's really Lays - Original, they feel salty and nice on my palate as I continue to eat more and more, downing more and more booz and chips.

sn00p strikes again.

This amazing environmental mapper was again at work, taking in his own hands the fate of a project that started in 2008, coming fron an idea by the romanian mapper tripl_ecks, the creator of kzro_smalltemple.

Romania's New Block is a national community creation built out of the gathering of those who created a block, mappers and non-mappers, and finally assembled by sn00p, with his own ideas concerning the architecture, structure, textures, environments and all the other things that a map has, except for the jumps, which of course were created by all of those who took part in this project.

This week we interviewed Moxx. You will also be able to read Community news, Demo reviews, Thought of the week, Upcoming projects, Movie reviews and last but not least drunken thought of the week. The interview with Haxxor that was intended to be presented in this weekly was unfortunately lost for now, but it will appear in near future. Enjoy the read!

Hello there, and welcome to the 93rd edition of the Run Of The Week!

There's a new fish in town.

... and it's taking his competition down one by one. But for the love of God, how else to crown yourself as the new 'rule maker'? We have to admin that this 'kid' has some boiling hot blood going through his veins to take down such a masterpiece former world record. And this actually goes beyond taking a WR. Do I have to remind you all what history lays behind this map?

Marshall and TonTo have teamed up to dazzle us with Marshall - The Underdog, featuring magnificent editing and exceptionally smooth strafes and trickjumps.

The film bears a very professional feel to it, which is made known by everything from the title card, to the wonderfully well done slow-motion sequences, and it even comes with some audio manipulation. Overall this makes for a very clean and exceptional edit. Combined with

This week we interviewed Lolz, The amazing trick-jumper and skillful kz player who is known for his swift and very unusual bhop style, we also added another movie section where projects are the focus. Enjoy the read!

Two rising stars.

Many said it, few believed it. So here it is: Nukk is slowly, but surely claiming the throne as the new best bhopper of the block in our times.
5 demos in a strike is something worth taking a look at. And all of the maps are popular too, which makes it even more interesting.
Could this be a heads-up of what's about to come? Is he slowly, and surely drowing his plans against us?

We would like to welcome three new admins to our staff of XJ.

prad joins us a second time to help us out with weeklies and the forums. We are looking forward to benefit from your open-minded attitude one more time.

NeW joins us to handle cups and hopefully tournaments too. His longstanding experience and recent activity in cupping will be your advantage from now on.

Cobrex joins us to work on weeklies and upcoming projects in the future. His various interests and latest activity promise great opportunities.

There have been a lot of complaints and misunderstandings about the current mapcheck system and its activity recently. Therefore, we discussed about possible improvements to our system and we are happy to present them today.

From now on both kz and custom maps can be submitted and nominated either publicly or via the old form. The mapadmins will do their regular work (checks and reviews) in our public forum now, too.

This week we interviewed Nukk, who recently amazed us with impressive records and is mostly known for his demos on unofficial maps. The last week has been a bit quiet and therefore this weekly is not that huge; nevertheless, we hope you enjoy it.

Pushing boundaries.

What was considered as impossible in the past, now looks easy. That's right, buh's smooth flow made this map "easy to beat" for everyone. Only that this is not actually true. He indeed made it look easy, but this map is a true beast and only the ones with magical bhop skills can conquer it.
So well done buh. You beat a dragon.
