XJ Weekly #2

It is Friday again and therefore time for something to read. This weekly has two main topics; first of all, we interviewed Bibika and found out he actually does not love to bhop. Secondly, we analyzed the current mapcheck system and looked ahead to what is coming.

And of course you will find typical components you are used to.

Once upon a time, the story of a guy on Xtreme-Jumps who liked making movies,
His movies were really good but didn't fit XJ's standards,
In fact, he was making surf movies.

But one day, he started making Kreedz movies.
And his videos were all apraised by the worldwide Youtube audience,
Then he forgot about Xtreme-Jumps.

Until this guy met another guy.

Once upon a time, the story of a guy on Xtreme-Jumps who liked making trickjumps,

Thanks to Zippow, who volunteered for administrating this, we are able to host a new tournament.

The tournament lasts for two consecutive days and starts tomorrow; 32 people can participate. If you are interested in participating, be aware that we use a different system this time and…

Since not enough players signed up, each Melee cup will have 4 players. Check the extended newspost to see your group and look at the changes on the map pool.

Hello dear members,

For a better and smoother development, we the Xtreme-Jumps.eu staff, would like to ask you, our audience, the ones who directly benefit from our work, what aspects of our daily work should we improve, what should we add or/and remove from our calendar.

And please remember, admins are here at work, with the goal of providing what's best for the community and not for themselves. We do not benefit from the work we do in any kind. We do it with the solely purpose of having the best ambient as possible where we can do what we like, what brought us together in the first place and where we can socialize with the others.

Hello Xtreme-jumps!

Coming to Xtreme-Jumps with a most enthusiastic host (myself Zippow ) is a tiny bit of weekly brought to you in the form of interviews. Ever since I joined the staff I've been wanting to be involved in bringing this community back to It's rightful shape and hopefully by adding this feature it will be one step closer to reaching that goal.

My main targets right now to interview are active, upcoming and interesting players. I will be allowing you guys to vote after each interview on who you think should be the next guy/girl to be interviewed, thus making it more interesting and fair. So without further ado, let's get down to the business!

Before I start with the main subject of an event, I would like to ask for your attention for a moment. It turned out that we are experiencing a really inactive time within Cup area for past few months and we are aiming to get the activity back, with your help ofcourse. So people, now I'm asking you, the community; Why aren't you playing Cups? What are we missing of in your opinion? Any response will be appreciated. Thank you!

Hello there, and welcome to the 90th edition of the Run Of The Week!

This week the clip is featuring Gene who succeeded in beating what was one of koukouz most famous WR!
As you're accustomed with me, let's be short but clean: editing by ndR, soundtrack including Gramatik & Break Science - Boogie Down and Aelian - Cave Funk (Ft. Mathieu Lagraula)
Ah and before I forget, I had a render bug twice in a row, and it seems that I just can't get rid of it... So please don't mind the black background during the intro, where was initially some awesome footage!

Hello there!

I come to you during this beautiful and sunny sunday (at least for me...) to present a brand new kreedz video for your über-jump demanding eyes that are never satiated!
Anyway, who reads descriptions nowadays? So let's be short:
The movie was made by AnnaX, a.k.a SeedDown, and featuring the now well-known by movie addicts Mr. flemeqa!

Have fun watching it, and don't forget to open your eyes wide: it's fast and furio... dynamic.

The XJ Mapcheck team is proud to announce 5 new maps!

kz_kzsca_mountainvillage by Chrizzy & soul|ftw

The norwegian mapping machine Chrizzy is back! This time in collaboration with the oldschool record holder soul|ftw! You thought that kzsca_highblock or kz_kzsca_cavemine are big and long maps? You thought wrong... Prepare yourself for a real oldschool feeling while you play this map. While you travel trought the map, you will explore lots of different places. The map was started before many years on July 6 2006 and finished on March 17 2011. The architecture of the map is simple and the jumps are just superb. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and try it!

Hello there, and welcome to the 89th edition of the Run Of The Week!

True KZ.

A young kreedzer on a not-so-known map. Feels unatractive right? Think again. Basically if you want to see classic jumping DeeDFTW delivers just that. I know that after the year 2008 this map had only two world records, one in 2009 and one in 2010 and probably this is why not all of you will recognize this map. But trust me, it's on oldschool map with a tent of modern air. After all it's done by

A moment we have been waiting for almost two months came on and this is the right time to eventually announce the Winner. But before doing that, I would like to summarize the expirience we have faced during this tournament;

There were some really hard times for us, admins, to organize everything well, because some things turned out to be just unforeseen, especially in the final match, but we managed to cope it a really few minutes before the start. Ofcourse, with the help of our partners, yet the coders
