[Updated Pics] tc_duskblock

My first one soooo its not great lol (pretty much why I chose block map cuz im not good at this stuff yet :P ) Its kind of short, too. I tried to go for as unique an arrangement of jumps per block as I could. Feedback is encouraged! If I get enough good feedback I'll submit it :P

Pic 1-2 looks nice considered its your first map, but the textures on pic 3-4 looks really bad imo, change textures maybe? :O Im not a maper tho so I cant give you constructive feedback.. Keep working on it :)

03/06/2008 00:09i kinda laughed at the third screen sry :D well, dont post screens on your first map, just let a bunch of friends test it first.. btw dont just put out light_entity without creating a light.
The blocks should have a wall texture instead of a floor texture on the whole thing.
it looks quite good for ur first map, gj :)

03/06/2008 06:50timmycakes! i like the contrast of the textures and the unique style of the blocks, but of course its your first map :) so i would stick with it as a learning experience
Looks pretty unique, but as said before take it as a learning experience.
But I would really like to see a map like that released.
03/06/2008 14:42looks very nice for a first map, gj :) i like that texture with the squares, it gives a map such a futuristic feeling imo :> but the surrounding walls texture kinda sux :/

I changed all the textures and added a sky and such. the txtrs go kinda well i guess (not diggin the one brick texture but theres always room for improvement) ...
