No not really. Remember the floating blue water parts? Those would be impossible :)

those parts are not huge, you could either learn them by heart or let the menu stay open or bind something or w/e to turn the water visible againa t that place.

Edit the source code and replace line 28 from :

register_event( "SpecHealth2", "eventSpecHealth", "bd" );

to

register_event( "SpecHealth2", "eventSpecHealth2", "bd" );

To Remove the water you can change many things in hl1 engine to make it to work or! just change ur settings in ati to lowest and run like a pig =)

Hey, how can I enable player sounds like it was in 1.0 version ?

uffo.16/01/2010 17:23

This plugin doesn't work for me, when i write amx_pausecfgmenu , it shows that there is an unknown plugin and error on the other side. Any ideas?

Acidas27/01/2010 00:14

:D Added plugin to 'plugins' dir? Plugins.ini? Modules enabled?

DiDo-Grecord holder27/01/2010 13:05

ufo u didnt add it into the plugins.ini

cap1m;09/02/2010 20:58

wich invis plugin is safe for recording?

SchlumPF09/02/2010 21:59

none if you enable the water function. using invis for palyers is valid though nobody is allowed to be a alive while recording.

cahz0r Tournament #310/02/2010 01:03

is it safe if you dont interact(touch) with the water ? :)

SchlumPF10/02/2010 07:15

faker once told me, the reason why the water function is disallowed in wr demos, is that it changes the demo data -> water wont be visible for any play. hence your demo is still invalid if you dont touch the water. the only thing you could try is not seeing the water at all while gaining increased fps by using the water function :)

So you think kimo thought like this when building rabbithighway...

The map is too easy, lets add some lava to make it harder for people with bad fps.

doktor16/02/2010 17:15(edited 16/02/2010 17:15)

No, he says that sometimes water hides blocks you have to jump at, and he assumes that it's possible to try a wr without knowing exctly where blocks are...

SchlumPF16/02/2010 22:24

actually he said that removing the water visually will cause a gain of fps which is an advatage against players who do not use this plugin. in fact, faker didnt care since this is more like lowering your resolution or w/e with the sideffect that you will not see any water. this sideffect is what disallows using /invis in wr demos.
