The only way to get low airtime is to push buttons as fast as you can

^this works

also try to make your strafes even, like 6strafes and lets say the entire jump is one second it'll be
"1second / 6 = 0.16sec = 1 strafe"

Nobody can teach you pre, the only thing you can try, by watching cj/dcj demos of pro players (like me) in slowmo, and try to understand when they exactly are doing turn, thats all, you need duck + turn in the same time with good sync and speed ._. longjumps are so boring in 2k14
