The perfect strafes
I think that they should be something like these on LJ (which Lt.Rat showed) but much smaller.. and I'm wondered what is the limit with CJ
after 15 min of adjustment i did this http://www.sendspace.com/file/wk94v9 (~275.5)
Strafes are taken from the 263_12 ljscript... so changed only Prestrafe, but its not the best prestrafe, it can be 297+, and mb we need some strafe adjustment. so, i think that 276.5 is possible. and the best distance i`ve gain via testing is 276.1+

nice.. but why is the left strafes so straight? i mean "cut strafes" and the right ones a little smother ? :D i dont get it xD

so with 1st technique distance in 8 strafes and 12 strafes ~ equal, but if we choose 2nd technique, i`ll get less distance with 12 strafes :) but in both case (8/12 strafes), jump linearity ~ same, so no need to do more strafes than we need, i think that i can do same length jump with 7 strafes and mb with 6 strafes... try to do sinusoid motion path, like 12 strafes graph... and it will be the best motion path. but really hard to do it with hands :)
yeah i definetly want to see it with 6 strafe actually right now i'm trying to jump with 6 huge really big strafes and i do 253-4 stats easily but my 6 strafe is always 0 - 25 or 40 sync and almost no speed.. 1st is always 20 speed and 100 sync lol

i very carefully read trough this topic, and understood that the perfect way to jump is to make strafes narrower closer the end of the jump.. but 256 wr by otcheto bombed my head
