I guess I've decided to join the off topic thread...
NumB, mappers dont always make maps for the community. I hope you're not referring to the latest hard maps. Chrizzy made broken because he likes a challenge. I'm not a pro jumper, but I can do kzsca_broken and it's fun. Chrizzy didn't make burrow for the community. It started out as a map he was just making for himself. In fact I believe he told me that he didn't think it would ever be accepted because it's ugly, and that he was just making it for fun. Or, perhaps a mapper is making a map that matches their own skill level. PuppetZ made dimblock hard because he's quite the jumper :p and he made what he likes.

This most recent release was half easy maps, half hard maps, and the map release before that was an easy and an average difficulty map. How can you assume that really hard maps are ruining the community? Maps aren't there for everyone, they're there for the people that want them.

Even KZ jumps are repetitive. Unless it's a map like gold bhop, with copy pasted jump after jump, bhop is just as variated as kz, as bhop on kz maps is just really fast kz.
