Even if 1.7 would come out 1.6 will stay imo! There are too many pros who wont accpet to relearn aiming and stuff! KZ will stay too i guess cuz of the engine etc!

half life engine is too old, I THINK that after 10-20 years theres just few people whos playing this.

seems like the kz scene grows bigger while the normal cs 1.6 scene shrinks. I'm pretty sure I'll start playing kz sometime again, it's such a funneh game, I love it:D and I dont think it'll become less fun 2 play just because the graphic engines for other games progress.

and when I'm 2 old 2 do physical activities, playing kz at the geriatric care must be the only entertainment u get:D

Umm, I think it's like 5-10 years. Maybe even more... Hopefully KZ will live on longer. KZMOD is growing and has showed that KZ isn't limited only to CS. Unfortunately even HL2 is getting pretty old anytime soon :/

The new engine is superb .. when you can mod on it they just need to port it to the OB engine.

would be sad when cs die :< those new engines arent fun, they are all about realism and graphic... even the most outstanding in the way of jumping game have been "corrupted" by this new fashion :< its Quake ofc.

shitgames like BF2-like games will kill FPS. when that happens, games like WoW will take over the gaming scene, untill someone invents gamer-suits and some leet-parkour game comes out, then that will amaze the world, by then, we'll all be 60+ though.
