cs 1.6 lives on ?
Well, they are working on a "new" one, running on the CZ engine afaik. Counter Strike Online, right? beta testing was going on a while ago atleast - i think, lol.
Edit: Looks like some asian-only game tbh

yeah... that newer generation cant find anything fun in jumping stuff. theyre all about shooting, like crysis, and same "straight forward" shit. it makes me sick that there arent any logical, trickjumping game on the market. :< only kill kill kill...
2noel, ive seen that EA making kinda freerun game. i cant remember its name, but it would be fun only for those who are in that shit, imo. cuz its not the same as kz or defrag, not even close to them... If only someone will make a jumping game just as kz etc. that would be great, but quake engine is dead already, so i dont think that there will be some. anyway you able to choose what to play, I know some ppl who still playing quake2.
otherwise, there are some new ideas in gaming. like portal for example, it isnt quite the same as kz, but this game has the genious idea. it has brand new gameplay (not really sure about that, but i havent seen anything like that before). so i can only hope that they or others will make something like kz... btw, can u expect how kz would look in single player mode with scenario? :>

So CS1.6 won't really die because it is Valves no.1 selling game.
Only when valves takes CS1.6 out of the gameslist it will die slowly.
atari and nintendo and shit are still being played after like 30 years, I'm sure cs will be played a verrrrrrrrrrry long time. It just might not be as popular over time.

It reminds me cs1.5 cuz every1 said the same things about it.
What do I think... People will get better computers, VALVe sometime will get in mind and fix all this bugs in css. Will make models more realistic and other bla-bla-bla... And then cs1.6 with kz will die just like cs1.5 did. But it's not gonna happen in minimum 5 years.
P.S. I wonder when Faker will be a dad, how will his son control the kz community. :D
