Will it work ?
My idea is to do a jump bug with 300+ u/s speed..
Will i slow down to 300u/s or not?

Hmmm intresting... You should not slow down, because you don't touch the ground... Nice idea ;)
lol, i forgot to add a picture.. added it!
NumB and eDark will be angry
:D lol
Ichwill can make a script because I don't think there is some guys who can do such a combo :D
lol , intresting :p
we can made a Jumpbug without fall on a high distance ?
I will try to script it too, but i never script a jumpbug /:

Jumpbug might not be easy to script :/
I think JB is impossible after a simple jump or duck...
When you do a jb you'l loose all ur speed....
only if you do the jb with duck and jump. if you do the jb with doubleduck, you are not loosing speed.
Also to do a jb, you need the minimum speed to get damage wen falling. I think that 500+. So its imp to make a jb from a height of 48 units
raver > I'm agree :s
I can't made a Jumpbug with a height > 96 units :/
it wont be a JB imho
if u land and frame isnt OnGround => Jump Bug, no matter how many units height.
mcj until 500 speed ddbug gg edark#2
Let me explain something in order to answer your question pulsar:
when you do a jumpbug the following happens:
1. you hold duck while falling.
2. frame: x: you release duck key while you are closer to the ground than ~2 units (that means that the player model is closer to the ground than it would be while standing on the ground)
3. frame: x+1: you press jump
4. frame: x+1:engine calculates that you are in the ground while jumping in standing position. To avoid this the engine teleports you 18units above the ground and lets you jump. BUT by doing this, engine doesn't notice that you ever touched the ground (=you dont take any dmg)
what do we learn?
when you do a jumpbug, the engine afterall only notices that you did +jump :)
what does this help us with the topic?
engine slows you down the normal way when you +jump with a speed >= 300 u/s.
That is always the case! (well tbh there's another bug, but thats not the question here)
Result:
Sorry Pulsar, your idea won't work :)
To avoid wild guessings: this isn't the way edark jump cat#2 is performed, too :)
still faaaar away :P
