and i don't think the ljstats should be expanded or whatever u want, this is a kz server, not a longjumping serv? that plugin does save the stats if i think, but it's just disabled?
and the kz plugin is already fine imo.. it's way better then any released to public plugin i can find (haven't really searched though, only tried the 2 versions from the downloads section and they sucked)

Um, dudes i don't get the aggressive feedback towards Cracker.
He had some valid points about the server and even if you personally don't agree why bother to post zero-information posts like "play in your lan". Stick to the points he made and discuss THOSE. His style of posting may have come as a bit aggressive and unfortunately aggression seems to be always met with aggression. Take a joint and relax... sometimes i wonder why I'm still reading this forum.
Anyway I personally don't see a big deal about the lj-plugin. One thing I'd like to see reviewed is the maplist. Maybe do some kind of poll about it but only allow enough old members and no warning to vote :)
Btw hasn't anyone else noticed huge packet loss on the xj servers or am i the only one?

"The official community" having out-dated plugins and such on their server doesn't give a good impression.
Actually hes right about map nominations. When ive been playing kz i was enjoying to play on pubs instead of lan. You can chat to people, people can spectate you, you can spectate others and ofc you can parcitipate in top10. While on lan is a pure geeking alone or with few friends. Back in a days i got fed up by 24/7 goldbhops and it seems still going on. Like goldbhop > ezbrickjump > utopia > goldbhop all over again, for example. My point will be like if you want to play those maps all over again go to your lan. Lan = geekig, pub = fun for me. And i cant see any fun in playing same maps or atleast extremely easy ones all over again. As for plugins, if they are outdated and working fine i cant see any reason for updating them. But if something went wrong it has to be fixed ofc ;)

during that time people change servers you know, it's not like it's the same people voting for those maps all the time.. the problem is that probably 75% of pub players just play it for the lulz and suck at it, they don't want those hard maps that barely get played which they can never ever finish...
xj even tried to do something about that too imo, by creating a server with easy maps an 1 with maps going from easy to extreme. though they should remove the ez maps from the regular server.. for example the current map on the regular server is kt_blockrace, which is considered an easy map on its download page http://xtreme-jumps.eu/download.php?view.220
can't u try some plugin that allows a map to be re nominated Only after 50 other maps have been played ?
maybe man maps might get a chance to be played
Perharbs disabling nomination function but leave rtv one could fix the problem ;) wankers wont be able to nominate those boring maps anymore, while people still can rtv to skip shitmaps.

I # this and up it, cause nothing has been done so far, and its really sad that servers with newer plugins are visited more often, and XJ servers are dieing...
An official community should stay at the FRONT with the MOST NEWEST things and ideas, instead of being FAR BEHIND the others...
I think this guy is right.. The tone is offensive, but he dose have a point imo!
A bigger cycle of maps would be better for sure.. :)

However, you have to accept that we can only make changes if other users come by and state that they agree and see this as a problem, too.
Also you gotta accept that other people actually enjoy playing the same maps over and over again and don't share your wish for other maps - after all the nomination/voting system is based on majority. :)
Of course that might be fustrating for more experienced climbers, but that doesn't automatically indicates that the server sucks... it just shows that it doesn't run the way you want to run it, which is a difference, because other people actually like the way it is running.
And YES, some of your accusations are right, the guy(s) who takes care of the server (oO3ddYOo) lost his/their motivation due to the unfinished plugin, which is pretty much a mess (ofc it does work, but it doesn't have half of the features we wanted it to have).... After all, we are just humans as well... if you/we get dissapointed and left behind with unfinished work, it's more than fustrating to keep the servers running with patchwork here and there - even tho you'd loved to see it "perfect" plugins running on it.
We know that we had some problems with AMXX Coders in our team lately, after NoEx left/went inactive without handing out the sources of his plugin we had no chance to update it or change it anymore, so we had to start all over again. Unfortunately SchlumpF's plugin got never finished, too, which is the reason why we were searching for a new AMXX coder... just read the main news at http://xtreme-jumps.eu/comment.php?comment.news.1113
Now we got Exolent, who is a great guy for sure, and will hopefully make us complete and kickass plugins to come :)
However, if more ppl agree on this topic we're going to try to increse the "banmap_after_nomination" count to 15 or 20 (would that be a reasonable value?).

It was meant to be taken as a joke ;) No harm intended. I know what it's like to have people whining at you everyday within KZ.
But seriously it was just a joke.
1) I appologize for my tone, I was just angry that no suggestions ever get comments by admins
2) Thanks for discussing things in the admin forum
3) Sure, there are people with different tastes, but I doubt anyone would complain about new/up-to-date plugins, and I think the XJ Server should be always up-to-date to be representative as an official community. Saying "go to other servers" doesnt work if you want to be official.
4) 20 is no reasonable value, at least not in my eyes. Its pretty much the same as 15. I would rather say make it 10-15% of the maps, dont know how much exactly are official now, but this seems a good value for me.
