Jump edge + lande edge =/= real stats, so you can´t calculate it like that.

you never jump straight so you always lose some distance in air
0.000000 is possible and it not have to be a stats bug, you can have jumpoff 0.0000009 and stats will write 0.000000...

rYOBI01/11/2010 10:14

some demos shows wrong distance like jumpstats shows 1 units shorter than an xj lj stats.

fizik01/11/2010 11:57

Actually if you have 0,0 jumpoff, you wouldn't be on the block anymore?!

Somebody answer to this. That's what I thought aswell when I read the thread title.

Interesting point brought up by fizik. I also think the same thing, getting 0.1 jumpoff is the closest we'll get I guess.

i think its possible because i have sometimes 0.0x jumpoffs my rec is 0.001934

Harley26/05/2011 11:26

absolute 0 is impossible. 0,000000000000000000001 is not.
why?
because absolute 0 would require you to be both on block and not on block, which is not possible in a boolean world.
so when the plugins display 0.000000 it just means that you got hella close to the edge. anything closer than 0.0000005 units but just not 0.
