A while back, Bibo made 15420 consecutive bhops over a span of 2 hours and 47 minutes, but then his fingers started to hurt too badly, so he decided to stop. I still remember hearing his cries of agony as I watched him make his final bhops. It was a chilling experience that I will never forget.

Sure exactly 1bhop/s :DD when you are in air for about 0.7s :DD

No? According to his info the average air time was about 0.649805447s.

qfiman*07/03/2010 15:53

whats the difference between 0.649805447 and ~0.7?

SilverNinja mapper07/03/2010 15:56

It is possible that I'm off by a few, I'm not completely sure. I spent 2 hours and 47 minutes watching the demo and counting every bhop, but I might have missed a few.

Sorry, the demo is 571MB and I have a slow internet connection.. it would take me days to upload.

DiDo-Grecord holder07/03/2010 18:18

sure... bibo ftw!

HeBTeMy07/03/2010 18:52(edited 07/03/2010 21:36)

I think we need a different map for stuff like that, but it would be nice imo :S

EDIT: bhop counter is needed as well :D

kREWAN07/03/2010 19:17

The knife map in fun_allinone is perfect. A big square with nothing in it's way ?

XJ. In Bibo we trust.

qewi14/03/2010 02:15

But what counts as a failed bhop? Just when you stop or when you "fail" a bhop, like doesn't get a 100% perfect one. Because if you only count perfect bhops people wont manage to bhop for that long, but if "failed" bhops are counted as well then pretty much everybody can bhop for as long a they want to? :-S

Yeah. How should a bhop be defined in the first place? How "failed" can the bhop become until it's considered as a regular jump?

kREWAN14/03/2010 11:12

Agree with you guys. If we count the failed once (speed under 250?) then everybody can do +10'000 easily. But if we only count thoughs motterfukking bhop elite then only a few will be able to do +5000 I belive. Maybe I'm way out of line here, but hey who cares? :D

qewi14/03/2010 11:16(edited 14/03/2010 12:09)

If only perfect bhops are counted then I'm pretty sure people wont even be close to 5000, if we could do like this; just run straight forward and start jumping, no strafes no nothing, just keep 250 u/s all the time and when someone goes under it he has lost.

That would be a little more boring though and I doubt people would even get to hm, 50?

kREWAN24/03/2010 19:04

I doubt that ? Maybe 10-20 ?

Ops bump
