Hey there,
another question following!

http://www4.pic-upload.de/03.05.10/pxbzaixtiabl.jpg

How can I get the view like it is shown on the left side of the picture? (with arms of the model)

The pic on the right side shows the standard HD resolution I'm using atm.
I just want to get the look from the left side =)

So which resolution I gotta use? Or sth? :O

Or do i have to record on the normal settings (not widescreen) and scale it down? :<

Might be cl_bob, or rendered/captured with different settings.

Offtopic: iBanana you should have disabled interlacing in your .gif avatar it destroys it :/

iBanana04/05/2010 13:43

i dont know how to fix that :x
did it with after effects, but idk :D
how to do so? =)

btw
@Trolis
Thx for the tip, i tried the command cl_bob and cl_bobcycle. no change :x
or i did it wrong but i guess not =)

Its not a in-game setting. Its the way the moviemaker (fof i guess) resized the clip in vegas or some other software.

macetikn[a]04/05/2010 15:41

its an ingame setting

Its not, sorry. Well, ether its massive widescreen, or its normal resolution cropped to a lower, more widescreen one (last is the most plausible one..)

Trolis04/05/2010 16:32

Hsonas also is doing like this in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O-3R7ASltVA&feature=channel movie.

It's captured with different resulution than rendered

iBanana04/05/2010 16:59

mkay, i need a short tut for this =)
i tried some resize but at least -after rendering with vegas- it was only a biiiiit better :D
maybe fof will take a look in this thread sometime :D

I dont know why the hell you need a tutorial for that?! captur with 960x960 and render with 960x100. thats just pure logic. if you press the height together it looks same like your cool screenshot.

and btw, fof made, as far as I remember, really bad stretching because the whole footage is distorted.

i think u record all u want in 800*600(not HD) then render it in vegas in 1280*720(HD resolution) and u get that long hands

prof. chosen05/05/2010 13:40

capture with 4:3, then cut off the top until you have 16:9

Am I the only one that really hates this arm skewing?

rK07/05/2010 11:39

no, same here.

it gives a interesting motion feeling for vertical movement tho i srsly prefer a "real" resolution which is not streched.

i record cs in 160x120, open up all screenshots in ms paint and stretch them to 1280x720. the result is almost the same, try it out ;>
