okay, after all i asked FoF and he also says its done by stretching a 4:3 captured video or something :D

So my final question would be: how can i stretch such a video to 1280*720 in sony vegas when i already got those 1280*720 project settings?
i tried using the "track animation" function but there are some small black parts remaining at the edges (not 16:9), still :x (at least i stretched it manually!)

project settings screenie: http://www.imagebanana.com/img/qcc3zi3g/Unbenannt.JPG

in the preview it looks like that it will be OK! but finally, it was 720 HD but the video rly was not (not as its shown obviously in the preview)

so is there an easier way? something like a "STRETCH TO PROJECT'S SOLUTION"-button? =DDD
help please =)

OOOOOK. got it by myself =)
you can set a special option in the video file's properties which allows that the video will be stretched automatically into project resolution

therefore my problem is fixed =)

lol I dont know why you asked fof if we have, or at least me has, already explained that its streched... DAS SIEHT MAN DOCH?! dafür muss ich doch keinen fragen...

well, easiest way: captur 4:3, vdub, video, filter, add, resize, compute heigh ratio 16:9, ok and save it.

hab einfach nach ner einfachen methode gesucht, also kein ding :D

btw: just unselect this option (where the mouse points at) and a random 4:3 clip will automatically stretched to the project's resolution. np!

yes of course, thats what it was made for. but I wont recommend this way because using vdub doesnt distort it that much.
