I am a bit of a perfectionist too, I spend ages working on something till its just right. Then after its released it ends up being too dark, shortcuts everywhere, etc :P

This map is a huge desert, it took me quite some time to make. Before I even began to make jumps, I got bored/tired of it.

A quite detailed map, with some kind of military-theme. There's not much else than what you see on the picture, so it's very short, but very detailed. The jumps aren't the best. I couldn't come up with something good to add after this part, so I gave up on it.

Some of you might recognize this. It is the very first climb map I ever made, but with a lot of modifications. I changed the theme many times, from snow to summer, but I never really got satisfied with it, and I couldn't continue this style of mapping, it is really too crowded, there's jumps everywhere.
Too bad those maps will never see the light of day. Maybe we should open some sort of map scrapyard so if someone wants to finish it he can :/
18/05/2010 05:12That's a pretty decent idea, people could choose from a bunch of half-finished maps what they like. But then you would get hand-me-down maps that have passed through 3 peoples hands if they all got bored of it :P
