gaming keyboard = more strafes?
LOOL spader i do the same :D. roccat taito + cyber snipa stinger and my keyboard is some shitty one random logitech for $10
why do u want 8+ strafes if u cant make better distance? i always liked 4-6 strafes , i make more strafes only when i try big blocks 255/256 for example.
Only distance matter , not strafes numbers.

the thing is i CANT make more than 7 strafes .. thats why i asked :) I like to do 6-7 strafes but still.

i`m using SS 7G. THE BEST keyboard ) but not so good for kreedz imo.. hard buttons.
keyboard don't have any kind of technical modifications as mouse do. that means it won't give you any advantage at all, doesn't matter if it's 100$ one or 10$. depends how comfortable it is.
Well i have a A4Tech g800 gaming keyboard and it doesnt help much.Having a good pad and mouse does.I made a mistake by buying this keyboard cause its useless...There isnt much of a diference between a 10$ keyboard and a overpriced gaming keyboard just some extra buttons.Buying a mouse that suits you and is comfortable would help you in shooters and kreedz.I use my notepad from school as a pad tho :D
03/08/2010 00:11I think keybord may affect on strafes/count strafes, but not much. The only thing that would not have been too deep and heavy buttons.

The gaming keyboards(not all) have 1ms reaction compared to the normal keyboard, which has 22ms. Once I tried with razer lycosa i couldn't syncronisate my 8 strafes(50-60only). Then i tried fast strafes and had done 11 strafes 90 sync.I can't do that with my keyboard(x7 g800, but i use it in 22ms, cus 7.92 sux), so only with the simple eye you can see that 1ms is faster than 22ms..
06/08/2010 22:47bought a Slimmed ACE keyboard, the buttons feels almost like laptop buttons, but its a few days until i can try it but its SO much easier to press the buttons fast. (It cost me like 20$ including multimedia keys)
