What skills do you need to have as a person,
I'd like to try this, to see what people think is the best combination of skills a dude can have.
Here's mine:
1. Dedication
It's a known fact that to become one of the best, you'll need to work hard. It's not always fun, so to keep yourself dedicated is my top one.
2. Talent
I believe that to reach the absolute top of the world, you'll need to have some sort of talent or gift.
What's yours?
Having the acronym 'ftw' next to your name has been scientifically proven to increase your KZ efficiency by up to 25%
A lot of patience
you need to work hard to get the results you want (like everywhere), you have to be patient as well. I think talent has nothing to do with kz, one person learns faster than another, it's probably just a matter of time.
patient
You have to be careless!

That's what we can call talent. But of course you got nothing with nothing, that's a worldwide law :/
The most important thing in KZ is to understand any move the best you can. Once this is done, you can achieve anything. For me, strafes were the most difficult part of KZ, I needed two or three years to understand it totally, otherwise it was always random and not constant, rest came easily.
I think patience is the only important property.
Both

This could seem the best answer. For example: in cups. Don't be afraid to do the next jump or some bhops, just go for it!

Man get these flamers out my thread admin. Every thread is flamin' Koukouz, come on guys, get off the forums.
I would say hours of geeking, patients and knowledge about the game (how it works, how to combine several techniques)

What do you mean " just sayin' "? So i can say ur bastard and its ok because i'm just sayin'? Everybody here is sayin' something.
I was pointing out facts, calling me a bastard could be a fact, but it's not. :)
g33k, thats the key.
by knowing every single small aspect of the game mechanics and techniques made me a better kz player, i think its less talent then knowledge & patience.
I am indeed tired Scary, but they can go on, the day haters will affect me has not come yet. The problem is that they are polluting each thread where I'm posting when I don't try to provoke anybody. But not everybody can be in/over the intelligence average!
