Longjumps limit
In the coming months or even years... what do u all think that will be the longjump record? even 260?
what i mean is that what do u think that would be the final record of jumping in:
Longjumps.
Bhop Longjumps.
Highjumps.

Imo @ bhop longjumps even 245 could be possible , since u can do 240 with only 1-2 strafes , but with a perfect bhop
@ Longjumps imo 256 units will be possible and done in 6months-1year but who knows .. maybe 260 are possible too :)
@ highjumps i cant say cuz ppl started jumping them from a couple of months and still they havent developed and discovered new techniques , maybe 250 can be possible there or even more ;)

i think with thopa's tip on jumping highjumps on a perfect highjump you have to jump ~254/255 units for a 250units highjump :[
i tested some things with the edgefriction and thinked after this tests that it's possible to jump off around 4/5 units before end of jump and then it's like a normal longjump (with the only difference that the jumpoff is 4/5 units before end of jump and it's higher than normal lj so its a difference to learn simply from optical look then).
but i thinked when i jump off around this 4/5 units before end of jump then the jump will not feel harder.
but when i jump off at end then the edgefriction will be active and the jump will getting much harder...
sure i don't can say thats 100percent so.
that is only my feeling about it

for sure. every new lj record would be nice. but all numbers like 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and so on are for me like a new episode in something.
so 250 is still done and very nice would be the new episode 260 :]

btw i think 260 should be possible. but with the actual techniques it should be an uber perfect lj at all. uber perfect prestrafe followed by uber perfect airstrafes..
why i think so?
normal forward jumping only duck at end 215 is possible
cause prestrafe only 240 is possible atm (+25 from standard)
no prestrafe jumpoff forward i don't know what is maximum possible but for sure 230+ [but im sure it is around 240 max](+15 from standard)
combined this 2 would be:
215+25+15 = 255
thats from the minimum calculated of airstrafe only.
sure, we cannot simply add this 2 values together because in both values is a duck at end. so we should have to decrease from endresult a few units which we get from duck at end. dunno how much this is :[

I think a new technique will be found and jumpers will jump more than 260...

i think in a year from now LJ record will be 255.. most likely done by t3d or niconen but the maximum that ppl will do is 256 and it will NOT be beaten.... 257,258 etc is simply impossible
bhop ljs - mostly about luck but i guess 245 max?
highjumps - 244 i think max possible that will be done sometime in the future :\
I think it's just question numbers of strafes.. T3d made 7 starfes, if he done 7, he can make 8..
Im gonna start by thinking about who can beat the current longjump record and that makes me kinda thoughtful because NiconeN told me some days ago that he ll stop playing kz and T3dbundy is only active in very short period of time. It is not that they are the only ones who can propably beat the 254 units, but they have the world record and therefore I don't take anybody else into consideration.
I think the the longjump record will remain for some time, even for a long time.
I am actually not sure about the highjump record because the highjump has always been kinda buggy for me but maybe our soul|ftw <3 will jump 1 units more :D So in my opinion the record will maybe increase with 1 or even 2 units.
The bhoplongjumps record will surely improve because 242 units were done by seaK after a very short time of trying and there are some bhop freaks who will bring it up to 244 units.
I can remember that one sentense form Potatismos The Jump movie. Kimo wrote that sentense : in the begining of the time, nothing was posible, now people think anything is posible. Think of it in the beginign we could`t iamgine that there is that kind of posibilitj to jump on the rock in nuke or on lader in vertigo, but know ?

I haven't done 250 in months and longjumping/kz'ing are becoming progressively more boring :(.
If I really push myself though and ub3rg33k like NiconeN (X -.- D) and get back to where I used to be (and do 250 again on a consistent basis :O) then I'm pretty sure I can do 254 and maybe 255, and maybe 242 HJ ;).
