i didnt spend too much time in recording, i only got like 10 randy national recs i think but i remember my first cg-rec on jett_mountain, it was totally horrid. i was ultra-carefull and slow in the end, forgot where to go ect,, and i never experienced to be more nervous in my life.
a few month later i recorded parkblock for cg, also a ~5min map. i tried when i felt like with music on, the only nervous moment usually was the shortcut, the rest just flowed without much thinkin.

i think most recorders loose it by time, other always stick to their shaky hands, obviously its just a matter of personality

I only get nervous in the last ~0,5 min or something but I can still control my actions in my opinion.

Its worse in tournaments when u have alot of eyes on you lol, then I get really really nervous. :D

An old article about kz addiction from 2008 which also talks about nervousity: http://xtreme-jumps.eu/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.86

I can't talk about recording demos, but when I try to beat my personal records, I rarely get nervous. On Bhop maps I get nervous though, because non-stop bhopping is very random for me. When I have a good time at half of the map I usually get nervous and do lots of fails.

Getting nervous -> not recommended

recording is alright after serious cups

When I recorded a little I kind of lost the nervousness after failing several times just because of the nervousness. I mean, if you've failed a few times in the end of a map you'll kind of grow a careface-mask on your skin, and vóila; heartbeat's all right. Or maybe that's just me. The key to not getting anxious is to not give a fu*k (or tranquilizers, actually.)

This happens on everything. Doesn't need to be a WR to XJ, it can be a normal IRL competetitions, perhaps in poker. You see you have perfect cards, and your alone with 1 more player or more, you will always feel this. Whatever age.

But yeah, I always fail runs. Usually close to the end, I realize this is one of the best runs I've done and I automaticly start to be way to careful and voilà; I failed the run completely. That's one of the reasons I never play kz :)

"Personally I am of the second kind, which makes recording very stressful at times, but very exciting either. It took me really a lot of time to develop the ability to control my hands, while my heart is about to explode. Sometimes, trembling hands may cause a lot of problems, which unfortunately I'm very familiar with. It really isn't very pleasant to fail on the last jump, especially when it happens systematically."

Me too...

And when I make a risky shortcut or something like that, idk why, I can't do bhop or make another risky shorcut cuz I feel, and if I fall? Is a uber run! But next I think, if I wanna a good run, I need to take risk and make it faster.

Sorry for this english...
