This is gonna be a beast, graphics wise.
My i5 2500k and GTX 570 should handle it pretty well at 1080p.
If not, i'll just buy another GTX 570
here are some tests on the beta http://www.sweclockers.com/artikel/14532-grafikkort-i-battlefield-3-beta but it is a swedish site but here are the average FPS on different settings med/high with different graphics cards, just check the graphs :).

How much MB you have - it doesn't matter. My card, which have this 1GB is nothing compared to your GTX, cuz my one it's old generation. Unfortunately, but I can't play... :(

Well you are using pretty small resolution so that may be why you get so high fps..
It's amazing... just sad that the only map available right now, isn't really fit for a recon... but I manage :-P

1280x800 thingie, if i use 1600x900 its bigger than my desktop and if desktop is max ress i get some weird fps drops :/
yo guys post your soldier names here so i can add you :) mine is Choilicious
btw the game is superb 100+ fps on 1080 ultra wats up
The system is dumber that the dumb, Let's play BF3, logging into Origin, downloading BF3 Beta, goood now let's play, oh wait wth, the game pops up the browser...hmm, logged into Battlelog, now let's find a server, hmm all are full, waiting waiting, finally found some, let's playyyyyyyyyy....Wait what? I need a plugin? The heck...
Downloading plugin, installing, ok may I play now EA? No . Find again a server, now join, GameManager loads things up, waiting waiting, "You have been disconnected from server"
Hmm is this suppose to be next gen gaming? No thanks I don't wanna be a part of it.
As to be a more on topic, game ain't so special, there are hell out damn bugs/glitches and it's way to bugged for such a close release but w/e. Hiding in some rock meshes seems to be the best spot in this game, esp for n00bs.
I was expecting more from this but it's meh so far...
Also DICE knows how to optimize the game, did few tests.
Everything on LOW @ 1080p 25FPS (Wtf?) now let's see something else
Custom settings (All HIGH, AA/AF/SSAO off) and 30/40FPS
Are you f*cking kidding me?
