lessons to perfect lj ???
are there any lessons to improve lj skills ??? or some advices ??? i've done just 235 units but i can do just 2 strafes :( that's not a lot... i wanna ask you how to do more and good if it is possible

i saw guides but i can't do more strafes.. if yes they're not efective.. i mean badly done... like with bhop if you're slowing down it's mainly beacause of bad strafes
first of all: is ur pc good enough? im havin a hard time beliveing that u can become a skilled longjumper with a pc which shows u only ~80fps
2nd: mouse equipment. a god mouse means gold in longjumps (according to me), b4 i used a mx510 @ 800dpi and it is totoally ok, but a max518 @ 16000 dpi or a g5 n' stuff is better fo sho.
3rd: PRACTISE, and practise _ALOT_. try improving from 2 strafes to doing 3, and when u can master 3 strafes go to 4 and so on..imo lot's of strafes r better than just a few..
the winning concept is 4 sho to practise, that's the only way to success, "practise makes perfect"
so gogo back on ur listen servern and geek some lj's !!!11

wow i found 2 new problems :D fps ~85 but how about mouse ??? got basic Microsoft wheel optical 1.1A mouse... it's good for me to jump with this mouse... i'm used to :) but i think i have to buy something new for my pc :D.. thanks a lot knifear i'll try these things
got one question :) maybe it was written somewhere in the forum but why is important to have aver. fps more than 85 ?

the more fps you have the more speed your strafes will give you.
i think u just got to find ur own style of long jumping. when i was noob i sat there for ages trying to copy other people styles thinking that i would be able to jump them easy but then i realised u gota find ur own style. and alos play alot of hard maps that will make ur multistrafe betta because u r doing it often. :up:

i'm used to original or basic lj style... i tried circle strafing but it sucks and i couldn't jump e.g. just 220 Units :D but i will try to do lj better and with my own style :!

A good way of training strafes is to put sv_gravity 0 on a map and make your dude stand still in air. Then you can strafe around try to build up a good speed. Start with slow strafes and then try progressively make them faster.

dont....... neppo just practice, some time ago i said to DHT-: i could never do 240, but well... my lj rec is 252 so i have to say PRACTICE, PRACTICE & PRACTICE and big big thank's to NiconeN who explained me how to prestrafe as well <3 him

now need more practice and probably can do more .and more...
so can you explain me how to prestrafe better ???
it's explained in the longjumps guide, just study the part when they explain prestrafe (A+W / D+W) and try to copy it. then just practise it alot:D
